 Dr. Carlyn-Ann Kathan is a distinguished professional in the field of dentistry, with a rich background and extensive experience. Since 2008, she has been providing exceptional dental care in private practice in Claremont, Cape Town. 

Dr. Kathan's journey into dentistry began after completing degrees in education and radiography, transitioning into dentistry at the age of 30.

Prior to her private practice, Dr. Kathan served as a dentist in the South African Defence Force, honing her skills and dedication to oral health. Her commitment to excellence led her to pursue further education, culminating in a postgraduate degree in aesthetic dentistry. Notably, in 2021, she achieved a significant milestone by graduating cum laude with a Master's degree in Business (Executive MBA) from the prestigious University of Cape Town (UCT).

Dr. Kathan's professional focus lies in conservative dentistry, with a particular interest in pediatric dentistry. Her expertise in these areas has been further enriched by her tenure as the head of the dental department at Red Cross Hospital.
